Our Strategy

All the principals and associates of First Produce and Overseas Business Support offer experience of working and living overseas, particularly in the Developing World. We focus on Project Management and Development.

Originating in 1996 our strategic aim was to support investment and two way trade with Africa. The initial focus was on West Africa: our interest has broadened into Africa generally and Eastern Europe.

Emerging Economies, whilst generally offering above average returns present unique challenges to business in that they pose particular difficulties and are unfamiliar to many companies.

It is often both difficult and time consuming to identify and find reliable partners on the ground.

We can overcome these challenges by drawing on our comprehensive knowledge and utilising our partners on the ground to provide Market Intelligence, Sales Support and Procurement Management, together with a whole range of essential support services, such as Warehousing and Customs Clearance.

Market Sectors

There is an emphasis on Agriculture, Food Processing and Food Distribution. In this sector we prefer to work in partnership with Farmers, Exporters and selected customers in developing a range of produce to suit their particular needs.
